  1. Nella the Princess Knight –

Nickelodeon’s Biracial Princess! How exciting is that?! Not only does she have a multiracial family, but she is also bending gender stereotypes by not only being a princess, but also a knight, that kicks butt and goes on adventures. There is also a book coming out to go along with the new show. It’s currently on pre-order and can be found on Amazon for under $15. Nella the Princess Knight by Christine Ricci

  1. I am ME Census Items –

With the things that are going on in the world these products are more true now than ever. Instead of identifying ourselves by descriptors that separate us… why not show the world that we are all the same!? These items, plus more can be found through The Mixed Shop. The Mixed Shop. I am ME items designed by TheMixedMama available at TheMixedShop.com and Teespring.com

  1. Coily and Cute –

I am OBSESSED with her illustrations. I mean look at them! They are stunning. There is just something about the way she draws that I am attracted to. She has a page www.coilyandcute.com where you can buy prints and other items of her images and she has also self-published two books. One is Princess Hair and the other is Night Time Routine. She has a Facebook Page that I follow and this month she is posting daily images for Black History Month with snippets of information about the people. Check her out!Coily and Cute (coilyandcute.com) Facebook Cover Picture

  1. Multicultural Children’s Book Day –

Multicultural Children’s Book Day was January 27, 2017. We were lucky enough to review 3 great books for it. If you missed out on it then you can still check out all the reviews from myself, as well as the other lucky bloggers over at MulticulturalChildrensBookDay.com . We discovered so many great new books through being involved in this day this year and we are so grateful for the opportunity. We have enjoyed checking out some of the various books that were reviewed. You should too! If you want to check out our reviews you can here: We Are America: A Tribute from the Heart, Most Valuable Players: The Gold Medal Mess, and Ayo’s Money Jar.Multicultural Children's Book Day 2017 Website Cover Picture

  1. My Family –

I couldn’t leave my family out this list. My family consists of my husband Kevin, daughter Lillian, and son Everett. I am so lucky, and blessed to have my amazing little bunch. They are my life and make me feel complete. They can be wild and drive me crazy at times but that is just part of #momlife , but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

That’s my short list right now, but obviously not all inclusive. I may do a hair product version of “Things I’m Loving Right Now” soon. What things do you love right now? Any special plans for today with your family?

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY EVERYBODY. I
